A Royal Blessing for Phut Jaw Shrine and the People of Phuket 🌕✨

On Friday, September 25, 2026, at 8:00 PM, Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi visited Phut Jaw Shrine in Mueang Phuket District, Phuket Province, to pay homage to Guan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) and participate in the Mid-Autumn Festival worship ceremony.

Dr. Thanyarat Atchariyachai, Chairperson of the 2nd Major Renovation Fundraising Committee for Phut Jaw Shrine, alongside her spouse and the shrine’s committee members, warmly welcomed Her Royal Highness. In honor of the occasion, the Phut Jaw Shrine Committee and the Xin Lor Community Committee prepared an auspicious Mid-Autumn offering table, celebrating a long-standing traditional festival revered by the Thai-Chinese community in Phuket.

During her visit, Princess Ubolratana observed the shrine's operations and graciously conversed with the committee members as well as the locals gathered to welcome her.

A place that belongs to everyone

The shrine is open daily and free to enter. Visitors are welcome to look closely at the architecture, take photographs, or simply rest in the shade — asking only for quiet, modest dress, and respect for anyone in the middle of their prayers.
